CLOSET CONFIDENTIAL

Salut, my lovely readers! (if you couldn't tell I'm super excited) This is going to be the first, of many, tags that I will be doing. If you don't know what the Closet Confidential tag is yet, you will soon. I chose this blurry picture because of how cool & covert it looks.

QUESTIONS

1. What is the oldest item in your wardrobe/closet?
- I actually have a lot of old items in my closet but if I had to choose I would say the denim jacket I wore in my True Blue post because I got it while thrifting and it's a really vintage blue piece. I love the quality of thrifted items because you know they already went through a life of wear and tear before you.

2. What is the newest item?
- My For Love & Lemons dress. Its so gorgeous and I got it for a steal at Nordstrom Rack ($65 instead of $260 *whoop whoop*) Of course I had to take pictures in the fitting room. (Insert photos during the try on)

3. What is the most expensive item?
- I would have to say my Calvin Klein booties that I've worn in many posts i.e. Hazy.

4. What is the most affordable/cheapest item (that you use a lot)?
- A pair of sneakers from a store called Dirt Cheap for $7.

5. What was the biggest bargain?
-Definitely the Love For Lemons Dress.

6. What was the biggest waste of money?
-When I was in middle school I wanted these pair of to the knee sneakers that were $70, I barely wear them, but I'm gonna try to style them in a post.

7. What are your 3 favorite items right now?
- My high waisted shorts, a romper from Nordstrom Rack, & a jumpsuit from Nordstrom Rack.

8. What is the most outrageous/colorful item in your closet (that you absolutely love)?
- A dress that my grandfather bought for me, it has clowns from Cirque Du Soleil all over it with a piece of the fabric they use in their costumes.

9. What is your favorite piece that you've gotten as a gift?
- I know this doesn't count as a clothing item but I would choose my sewing machine because I use it o make clothes that I absolutely love.

10. What is the most comfortable item?
- My T shirt dress from Ralph Lauren (I got it for $20 instead of $100). I could wear that to bed and wake up with an outfit, its very versatile.

11. What is the most uncomfortable item (but you would take the pain because you love it)?
- My new heels from Steve Madden because I just got them and they need to be broken in, but they're so amazing.

12. Show us your favorite complete outfit (top, bottom, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and all).

I love this outfit for the extra height it gives me (even thought I'm already really tall) and the comfy-ness of the top and jeans.

13. Pick your favorite black item and your favorite white item.
 (Dress)
(Top)

14. Where do you shop the most at?
- In all honesty, the fabric store.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know me (my closet) a little better. More tags to come! Take care xx

CHEEKY

Top - Foreign Intentions | Shorts - F21 | Backpack - Ebay | Sandals - JustFab

I realize I'm a day late for this post. What's funny is, I already had everything ready, I just completely forgot to post it. I call it & blame it on the school brain. But honestly, I think I like the idea of posting on Wednesdays. I get out of school early and I just have more time for everything.

Overall, this week has been pretty good, some minor bumps in the road but that's life. I've actually found so many new songs that I love this month so let me know if you guys want a monthly playlist to go along with the fragrance of the month.

I called this outfit "Cheeky" because in person, I'm a tall girl (5'9 and still growing) with long legs and if you're a tall girl as well, you know the struggle with shorts. Pretty much every pair of shorts I own (except the ones I make) look WAY too short on me. I've grown accustomed to it and got used to it. It doesn't deter me from wearing shorts, Florida is a very hot and humid place and people are just going to have to deal with the long-lyness that are my legs.

Over the years I've come to just not care what people think anymore and just wear/ do what makes me happy. If that means being a supper weird person then who cares, it makes me happy. I feel like as a blogger and girl, I should really use this blog not only to display my designs and love for fashion, but also a place where girls (and guys) can feel comfortable and just be themselves without being insecure about it. Don't forget to keep smiling! Take care xx

70S BABE

Top - Foreign Intentions | Pants - F21 | Shoes - JustFab | Braclet Cuff - Gifted
I'm back with another outfit post! Finally. And before you ask, thats not a real tattoo, it was just for a photoshoot. But any who, it feels so good to blog about an outfit post. It's like I can hear angels sing at this exact moment.

I've been really enjoying the off-the-shoulder "movement", I've always had a love for them, and I wish they were "school appropriate". I don't think I'll ever be happy with dress code, but its only for three more years. No, wait! Only for two because the school year here is almost over. *does happy dance*

Now, about these pants, theres a story behind this wonderful thing. (Here's the short version) It was after Christmas and I was spending my christmas money, wisely I might add, and I saw that forever 21 was have a huge sale PLUS, wait for it.... FREE SHIPPING. Of course I couldn't ignore this and I searched for an outfit and found this pair of pants for only $3. I obviously needed a top and just got a basic long sleeve one. The total is the real kicker... only $10 for everything. I feel like I deserve an award, but I'll be happy with a happy dance and these pants.

I figured, if I did the top and the pants, I might as well talk about these amazing sandals. I would say they're my most worn shoe at the moment. It just goes with everything and instantly bumps up your outfit level. It's simple and comfortable, perfect for me. I hope the rest of your week is as comfy as my shoes! Take care xx

PYRMONT BLUE

Gilly Hicks PYRMONT BLUE

As promised, here is another fragrance of the month. I've actually had this for quite some time and the smell still lasts- which I am quite amazed by. It has a very fresh scent, and I would say it's my go to everyday fragrance (when I remember of course). I also love the light blue tint it has, hence the name.

Now, lets catch up a little. I'm in my last week of my core class exams. I still believe I have a language exam coming up soon, and an AP test later this month. Other than that though, I can breathe- a little. I will try my absolute best to put a post up once a week during this stressful time, but if I can't, please understand. I have been keeping up with my sewing and I am currently working on a very special piece. I also have a ton of outfits for upcoming posts so stay tuned! Have a happy Monday! Take care xx
